McKean Construction Company is a builder of commercial and residential projects in the Santa Barbara area. We specialize in residential remodels and additions. Our priority is helping client’s achieve their construction expectations.

Aaron McKean has always been very passionate about construction and has been working in the field for over 22 years. He initially started his business in 1996 in San Francisco, California where he worked on the classic Victorian homes and buildings. He moved to Santa Barbara to work on a specific project in 2000 and since then has worked with the same set of sub-contractors which has created a very loyal and competent team. He employs an experienced set of carpenters to assist in the framing, trim work, etc. He also has a close relationship with many vendors in the area. These relationships have proven to be extremely helpful in moving the project along in a time-efficient manner and has created a team atmosphere on the job.

While working closely with the Client and Architect, he is able to develop a home from concept to reality. Frequent client meetings help to ensure that we meet the needs and goals of each client. We are constantly seeking ways to save the client money and ensure a happy relationship between both Contractor and Client. We are extremely dedicated to the projects and our clients. We are passionate about what we do and aim for ultimate satisfaction.
